Alexis couldn't fall asleep last night so I gave her a Benadryl at around 11 PM (it was a quick-melt chewable, and her dosage was 1-2 tablets). She has allergies and eczema, so although she takes a prescriptive allergy med, I do occasionally give her a Benadryl booster. Last night, the Benadryl was mainly to help her fall asleep. Didn't work.
